Pyrenees Adventure Retreat: Recover, Reset, Revive

Pyrenees Adventure Retreat: Recover, Reset, Revive

Are you looking to escape social media; release the pressure of being in the public eye; rediscover yourself; or are running on empty due to the pressures of work — it’s time to reset properly.

When was the last time you properly switched off? Not a long weekend where you still checked your email. Not a holiday where you spent half of it thinking about what you’d come back to. Actually off. If you can’t remember — or if that answer makes you uncomfortable — the Pyrenees Adventure Retreat is for you.

Four days in the Catalan Pyrenees. No agenda. No noise. Just space. This is a small-group wellbeing retreat designed for high performers experiencing burnout or sustained pressure. Led by Andrew Jenkins, star of BBC’s The Traitors, and hosted by Challenge The Wild; this clinically informed reset takes place in one of Europe’s most remote and restorative mountain ranges.

Not a spa weekend. Not a team-building exercise. Something rarer…

Why the Pyrenees?

Because you can’t check Slack from a canyon. Because cold water and mountain air can jolt you out of ‘always-on’ mode in ways a meeting room never will. Because your brain needs genuine boredom — no notifications, no agenda, no digital distractions — before it can think clearly again. The wilderness isn’t decoration. It’s the reset mechanism.

The Catalan Pyrenees — with their hidden lagoons, steep canyons and quiet valleys — are about as far from the office as you can get without leaving Europe. Based near the village of Sadernes, you’ll hike, swim, explore waterfalls and caves, and rediscover what it feels like to just be.

Your Four-Day Reset: What Happens

Day 1: Arrive in the Valley

Hike through a dry riverbed to reach Pont de Valenti, your base for the next four days. Guided meditation to help you start to stop. Settle in. Dinner.

Day 2: The Blue Lagoon

Follow a pilgrim’s trail along the riverbed to swim in the crystal-clear Blue Lagoon — exploring hidden caves and waterfalls. Return on the higher path with views across the mountains.

Workshop: Challenges of Our Times.

Day 3: The Canyon

Half-day canyoning: swim in clear water, float through steep-sided cliffs, jump and slide off waterfalls. Rediscover what fun feels like.

Afternoon at Pont de Valenti: lounge in a hammock by the river, take part in an interactive workshop, try the on-site sauna or cold-water therapy.

Day 4: Reflection

Social brunch. Workshop: What have you learned? What will you change? What goals do you have for the future? Time to make a pledge — to yourself.

Transfers back to Girona.
