OUR PROGRAMMES

Work Experience

Our work experience programme is open to young people aged 16-20. You will be required to join us on two of our events, where you will be introduced to the outdoor industry and event management.

We aim to help our students develop an understanding of the outdoors, and build on essential life skills like communication, decision-making, teamwork and confidence.

Military Veterans

As a veteran owned company, we understand better than most the challenges faced by veterans on leaving the service. We provide opportunities for veterans to attend our events & work alongside us.

We emphasise the importance of our 5 Pillars of Survival; whilst we assist in the development of a future plan, realistic goals that can be achieved.

Fundraising Events

Each year, Challenge The Wild will deliver 4 outdoor challenge events at zero cost to the not-for-profit organisations. To date, we have raised over £22,000 through these free events.

All organisations taking part must use the opportunity to fundraise; and share the same ethos, values and beliefs as we do. Recent events have included abseils, hikes and multi activity challenges in the Lake District.

Community Support

The provision of resources for community groups to run their own well-being walks, to encourage more people to enjoy the outdoors and use it to improve their physical and mental health.

The resource provides information on how to plan a well-being walk safely, what to consider during your walk; and several interactive exercises that can be used to increase physical and mental well-being.
